technically C# does not allow functions to be outside of a class, however you could debate that static methods of a static class are functions and not methods. This is a good explanation here: stackoverflow.com/a/155655/2146952

1 @ImranAmjad: IEnumerator implements IDisposable, so you're meant to call Dispose when you're finished with it. In particular, if the sequence you're using is generated from an iterator block, that allows finally blocks to be executed - so resources dirilik be released from there.
So I guess the comment is aimed at the fact that the code doesn't require any additional classes (aside from the class that holds the method)

When using foreach to enumerate via an iterator block that contains a using statement, are the resources disposed of when control leaves the loop?
The enumerator produced by an iterator block implements IDisposable. Calling Dispose() C# IEnumerator Kullanımı on it ensures that all the finally blocks in the iterator block are executed, including finally blocks that come from using statements.
using the yield statement you'd only iterate over the items you need, whereas using the list version, you'd first iterate over all items C# IEnumerator Nasıl kullanılır in the list and then all the items you need.
